Every Sunday morning a colourful car boot sale ("rastro") is held on the outskirts of Baza. This is located in the large lorry park behind the Hotel Abadi which is off the roundabout at the Hospital entrance to the town (A-92 Junction 342 Baza Este).

All sorts of interesting items are on sale including plants, gifts, antiques, incense, handicrafts, pictures, books and bric-a-brac. Stallholders are mainly British and Spanish. A large selection of refreshments are available in the hotel bar. For many people this is a popular Sunday meeting-place.

For anyone wishing to sell second-hand goods or handicrafts, arrive (behind the hotel) at around 8.00a.m. to set up your stall. Pitch price 5 euros.
